Former policeman Andy Wray has his memory wiped every two days. He cannot remember friends, relatives or events in any detail but, with the help of endless note books and reminder cards he manages to get on with life and even runs marathons. His life was turned upside down in 2007 when he suffered a severe mental breakdown causing a very rare condition called Dissociative Amnesia. His memory had been completely wiped. Andy had witnessed horrific deaths and suicides while in the police force and the constant anxiety caused his memory to abort. The picture above is a close up of his diary, which he keeps to help him remember things at his home in Essex.
